Swargarohini is a mountain group of four peaks in Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand. It is known as “Way to Heaven”.

Feast your eyes with the views of entire Chaukhamba peaks and Kuber Parvat with other high snow-capped mountains.

DETAILED ITINERARY

Day-1 Dehradun to Badrinath
The vehicle will be arranged from Dehradun railway station, pick up time is 6:30 in the morning and the drive is towards Badrinath through Devprayag and Rudraprayag. It is a holy pilgrimage site and one of Char Dham’s.
Reach there in the evening and check in a hotel, arrangements will be made there.

Day-2 Acclimatization Day
This is your rest day, go on a short hike and explore the surroundings.

Day-3 Badrinath to Laxmi Van
Post breakfast the drive is towards the last village Mana, trek starts from there. After a short trek you will get the sight of Vasudhara falls which lies opposite Alaknanda River’s bank. Ascent gradually till Somtoli meadows and cross landslide prone area, now shepherd huts are visible.
Go through boulder zone to reach the campsite, there are Bhojpatra trees in abundance. The surroundings are beautiful with sight of Alkapuri glacier which lies on the opposite side. Setup your camps and retire for the night.

Day-4 Laxmi Van to Chakrateerth
The trek is challenging today, head from Laxmi Van towards Chakrateerth. The ascent is sheer through scree and boulders to “Sahastradhara” which means “Thousand waterfalls”. After you climb up the valley this place offer views of Chaukhamba peaks, Balakun and Neelkanth.
Ahead cross a narrow stream and walk on the levelled ground. Now, start the steep climb, now a short trek will lead you to Chakrateerth campsite. Setup your camps and retire for the night.

Day-5 Chakrateerth to Satopanth Lake
Start the trek early today because you will be crossing some tricky sections on the trail. Ascent to the ridge’s high point and trek along the glacier to reach serene triangular “Satopanth Lake”. Get impressive views of Chaukhambha peaks and Nilkanth.
The surroundings are beautiful, explore and relax there for some time. Setup your tents there and retire for the night.

Day-6 Satopanth Lake to Chandrakund
Wake up and witness the Chaukhamba peaks turning golden at the time of sunrise. After breakfast start the trek towards Chandrakund and see some rooms made of stones where saints live permanently.
The trail gets narrow and on one side is crevassed Satopanth glacier and on other side is the barren land. Walk very carefully while crossing this region because a single mistake can be very dangerous.
Reach Chandratal, it is a small Lake where the water level increases and decreases from time to time. It is believed that Lord Chandrama meditated here and at the day of Purnima (full moon night) this Lake remains full of water.

Day-7 Chandrakund to Suryakund
Start the day early and head towards Suryakund, walk on the edge of mountain, go through the moraine area and boulder zone. Get the clear view of entire Chaukhamba peaks and Kuber Parvat.
Setup your camps and retire for the night.

Day-8 Acclimatization Day
Today go for short hikes, explore the area and rest for the day.

Day-9 Suryakund to Swargarohini Glacier
From Suryakund to Swargarohini Glacier, it is a steep incline and on the way are crevasses. The trek through boulder and moraine area is a tough one but the excellent and close views of high peaks are totally rewarding.
Reach the Swargarohini Glacier, above lies Swargarohini peaks “Char Singh” “Way to Heaven”. From here 3 steps of stairs are, they are believed to be total 7 but all of them are not visible due to the clouds.
This glacier is less crevassed and is in better condition than the other glaciers. Setup your camps in a suitable place, have food and retire for the night.

Day-10 Swargarohini Glacier to Chandrakund
Retrace your steps and get back to Chandrakund. Walk carefully because it is going to be a steep descent.

Day-11 Chandrakund to Satopanth Lake
Follow the same route and get back to this mystical Lake.

Day-12 Satopanth Lake to Laxmi Van
Get back to Laxi Van via Chakrateerth, descending takes less time but be careful while the descent because some sections are tricky.
Reach Laxmi Van, setup your camps, have sumptuous food after this tiring trek and retire for the night.

Day-13 Laxmi Van to Badrinath
Descent towards Mana village and you can reach there in 3 hours. From Mana the drive is towards Badrinath, arrangements will be made in a hotel there.

Day-14 Badrinath to Dehradun
Post breakfast leave for Dehradun, have your lunch en route and reach there in the evening.

All transfers in shared taxi right from PICKUP POINTS to DROP POINTS
Permits and Entrance fees.
Accommodation in tents on share basis during trekking.
All meals, { from BASE CAMP to BASE CAMP} Breakfast, Packed Lunch, Tea, Coffee, Sneaks, Soup, Dinner, after dinner hot Chocolate, lemon tea. etc!
All camping gear including tents and sleeping mattress. Liner,Kitchen tent, Dining tent and toilet tent.
Good Experience Hindi/ English guide, cooks and porters, mules.
Insurance of Black Mount Climb staff.

Meals during transit.
Charges of mules/poerters carrying extra luggage. (Rs 300/per bag payable to Black Mount Climb Personnel at the base camp )


PAYMENT POLICY:

A) 46 days or more before date of departure: 25% of total cost.
B) 31- 45 days before date of departure: 50% of total cost.
C) 30 days before date of departure: 100% of total cost.
IMPORTANT: The booking stands liable to be cancelled if 100% payment is not received less than 30 days before date of departure.


REFUNDS:

No refund (Partial or otherwise) will be made if you voluntarily leave or drop out of a trip for any season after the trip has begun. No refunds will be made for any accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, meals or services not utilized.
In case, Black Mount Climb cancels the trip due to unforeseen circumstances/climatic emergencies it would be happy to suggest an alternative trip/dates. You shall be notified of same. You may accept the alternate trip suggestion, voucher (with one year redeemable limitation) or request another trip of your choice. The difference in cost, if applicable, will have to be borne by you. Black Mount Climb shall, under no circumstances, be liable for any additional costs, credit card charges, TAC(s), travel arrangements including but not limited to flight cancellation, railway, hotel, visas costs, onward arrangements coinciding with this trip etc. Refunds in such a scenario will happen as per our cancellation policy.
*Refunds are not possible for any missed or unused services including voluntary / involuntary termination of tour on account of sickness, death of a family member, late arrival on the tour etc.*
*Black Mount Climb is also not liable to pay any compensation for any loss arising as a consequence of trip curtailment, alteration, extension or cancellation due to any reasons. However, you expressly agree that, in any event, the maximum liability of Black Mount Climb will be limited to the trip cost paid to Black Mount Climb.
Black Mount Climb must receive notification of cancellation in writing. At the time we receive your written cancellation, refunds based on the total fare are as follows:


CANCELLATION POLICY

For the cancellation of trek services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reasons, we must be notified of the same in writing
*CANCELLATION CHARGES PER PERSON
a) 30 days or more before the departure date: 25% of the total cost.
b) 29 - 20 days before the departure date: 50% of total cost.
c) Less than 20 days before the departure day: 100% of the total cost.
d) Cancellation less than 10 days to the start of the trek: Transfer your trek (same trek, same batch) to your friend. No cash refund.
*IF WE CHANGE OR CANCEL YOUR HOLIDAY
We do plan the arrangements in advance. It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your travel arrangements.
Occasionally, we may have to make changes and we reserve the right to do so at any time. If there are any changes, we will advise you of them at the earliest possible date. We also reserve the right under any circumstances to cancel you travel arrangements by assigning reasons to you.
If we are unable to provide the booked travel arrangements due to reasons beyond control ( e.g. bad weather, insufficient bookings) we shall first try to offer alternative dates for the tour if the tour has'nt already commenced. If the alternate arrangement does not suit you, we will refund the amount in full.


NOTE:-
1)- Change of trek batch is dependent on the availability of seats in the batch.
2)- In case of transferring a trek to a friend, he/ she should satisfy all the mandatory requirements put forward by Black Mount Climb.
3)- Black Mount Climb holds the right to change/cancel the policies, without prior notice.

"Black Mount Climb" reserves the right to change expedition dates, people or itineraries as conditions warrant. If a trip must be delayed or the itinerary changed due to bad weather, road conditions, transportation delays, government intervention, airline schedules, sickness, or other contingency for which Black Mount Climb or its agents cannot make provision, the cost of delays and/or other changes are the responsibility of the participant. Black Mount Climb reserves the right to decline, or accept, any individual as a trip member for any reason whatsoever.

*Written cancellation will be accepted on working days (only). Any cancellation sent on a Sunday or any National Holiday(s), will be considered on the next official working day.
*In the event of any cancellation(s) after trip commencement, there will be no refunds and any costs incurred due to this cancellation will be borne by you.
Irrespective of when a trip is booked, the above condition will hold true.
How to Reach

By Air :-

Jolly Grant Airport is the airport serving Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India, located about 48 km from the Haridwar. There is a daily flight from Delhi for Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India.


By Train:-

From Delhi -DDN NZM AC EXPRESS (2205).
From Kolkata- Doon Express (13009)
From Mumbai- Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India Express (19019)
From Chennai- Dehardun express (12687)


By Road:-

By road, Haridwar is well connected with major destinations of the country.
NH72 connects Haridwar to Nahan (125 km) to the north-west, and thereon to Panchkula, Chandi-garh and Shimla.
NH 72 terminates at Dehardun, which is at 54km from Haridwar.
Haridwar is located at a distance of 235 km from Delhi.
NH72A links Haridwar to NH58 at Roorkee (35 km) and thereon south to Meerut (170 km) and Delhi (235 km).
There is regular bus service from Delhi for Haridwar from Delhi's ISBT Kashmere Gate

Black Mount Climb GUIDELINES

DO’S AND DON’TS ON A TREK

1.Alcohols or any other intoxicating products "STRICTLY PROHIBHITED" during the trek.
2.Always pay heed to the trek guides or instructors.
3.Try not to leave the group under any circumstances.
4.Avoid trekking during the nights as it is extremely dangerous.
5.Avoid using earphones as that might hinder your hearing.
6.Do not participate or encourage littering of the places in any form.
7.While visiting the local villages and tourist sites, obey the local guidelines and instructions.
8.Do not harm or interrupt the local sentiments of the places.

IMPORTANT:

Your safety is of paramount concern while travelling with Black Mount Climb.
Please note that your leader has the authority to amend or cancel any part of the itinerary if it is deemed necessary due to safety concerns.
Since adventure entails travelling in remote mountainous regions, we cannot guarantee that we will not deviate from it. Weather conditions, health condition of a group member, unexpected natural disasters, etc., can all contribute to changes in the itinerary. The leader will try to ensure that the trip runs according to plan, but please be prepared to be flexible if required
